Some of our Pole Dancing Divas are strutting their stuff not around the pole, this time it’s 10km on the tarmac.

 

It is of course the women’s mini marathon and Polestars are proudly doing it for our four legged friends in need from the Kildare Animal Foundation. This charity is a safe haven for sick, injured, neglected and abused animals. They provide a rescue service and offer advice to the public. Their mission is to rescue and provide a safe haven for animals. To bring them back to full health in body and mind and to find them new homes. Polestars feel this is an extremely worthwhile cause. This foundation receives very little help from the government and as a local charity they would not get the publicity that other major charities might receive, through the media and awareness from the marathon. They are almost completely reliant on public donation and are of course overwhelmed by the need for their services.
